Are You Kidding Me?!? 6/18/09

YES. ANOTHER TRIP TO THE DOCTOR THIS WEEK. This time we were at our family reunion in Ririe. It was the first day of the reunion!! Austin was blocking his 15-year-old cousin in a football game & hit his thumb on Jacob's shoulder just right. He came over, giggling, & showed me his crooked thumb. At first we thought it was just dislocated so I tried to put it back in! YEAH. THAT DIDN'T WORK! My dad made him a "MacGuyver"-like splint, then Reid & I headed in to Idaho Falls with his cousin, Alex. He didn't even cry until he realized he wouldn't be able to swim today! He had broken it into the growth plate, so they splinted it & we made an appointment with a pediatric orthopedic surgeon in Helena for next week. Cute Alex didn't want Austin to miss-out on the swimming alone, so he chose not to swim, either. Their reward: DAIRY QUEEN!!
