My parents were planning to come to Butte on Friday the 28th, but decided to wait until the next morning. When we awoke Saturday morning for Ethan's football game, it was SNOWING!!
We dug-in to the winter clothing & headed for the game, while Grandma & Grandpa Bringhurst cautiously hit the road.
During the game my kids built a snowman they affectionately called "Grandma Snowhurst" in honor of the highly anticipated visitors.
My parents made it safely through white-out conditions on Monida Pass after avoiding a stopped police car in the left lane...Thank Goodness..and the weather improved for smooth sailing all the way home on Sunday.

A few days prior Ethan had said, "I wish Grandpa Garrett could see me play football." Before the game that morning he said, "I wish Grandma & Grandpa Bringhurst could make it in time for my game." During the game Reid told me, "I wish I could've played football in the snow." And as for me I just wish I could live nearer to all those we dearly love!
...Someday!!!
