Ethan had a great game. He had 2 receptions for 23 yards. He played wide receiver on offense & safety on defense.
He even went home with some battle wounds! He landed on the ball & had the wind knocked out of him.
I give him these funny little pep talks on the way to football (which he LOVES) where I do cheers for him or grit my teeth & growl saying, "If you don't get hurt, you didn't play hard enough!!" (It embarrasses him even when we're alone.) I think he played hard enough this time! (Notice the size of #35 standing above him! Yikes!)
When a player is injured all the others "take a knee" in respect of them. Pretty cute, huh!
He gets pep talks from his dad, too, only his aren't as funny as mine.
Caitlin wore his practice jersey to the game so she could be his personal cheerleader.

That is great! I love football. I like that he has his own personal cheerleader.
If it was Karha playing football we would be in a cast from head to toe.
Good luck Ethan and listen to your mom's pep talks, I am sure they are great.
