Today was the last day of the 'summer free lunch at the park' program here. So Caitlin decided she wanted to go REALLY BAD. However she neglected to tell me of her desire until there was about 15 minutes left of the lunch-time. (She's a tweenager.) We rushed to get everyone ready, but were delayed by a gross bathroom accident, of which I will spare you the gory details! We rushed to the park to see the school district truck drive away. So instead, we headed out to Ross Park Drive In for some taco spaghetti, then played there at the park.
I wanted to get a picture of all the kids in the pretty red slide. WHAT WAS I THINKING?! The kids were having a difficult time sitting still in the slide. --By the time the 5th one would sit down, the others would have drifted too far down the slide to get a decent shot and they would get all tangled up trying to get back up to their spots! It was a bit frustrating, but a lot of fun for the kids. This was our first shot:

these are really cute pictures! love to see them. I am trying to get my own website started but my pictures wont work for some insane reason and when I get Deric to sit down with me one of these days to explain what I am doing wrong I should have it up sooner or later. Missing you and the family. Mailei asks about Brooklyn often.

Hey your kids are great! Karha was asking about Brooklin the other day. She said she wanted to play with her "bestfriend". We sure miss you guys. Hope all is going well in Idaho.
