I picked-up the kids from school at & drove to Rexburg for the Temple Open House. Reid had planned to go with us, but chose to go to my parents' 50th Anniversary Open House this Saturday instead!
It was ICY COLD outside, and warm & beautiful inside.
It was so cold outside, that my camera froze up & these are the only pictures I could get - of the back of the temple!
We hit the Distribution Center, then made it back in time for Young Womens & Scouts!
What a neat experience we had! I went to the Jordan River Temple Open House as a child and have never forgotten it. I hope my children have the same feelings. When I asked them about their favorite part, the consensus was-
- looking into 'forever' in the mirrors in the Sealing Room
- the chandelier made of 80,000 crystals in the Celestial Room
- the baptismal font on top of 12 oxen
- and...EVERYTHING!

I can't wait to see that temple. It looks so beautiful. I love the shape.

I am jealous we probably won't make it down. We went to the Bountiful open house. It was great. I am sure this was just as beautiful.
A temple in Rexburg - who would have thought!! It looks beautiful!!
