Ashlee's Junior Miss 4/4/09

I had mentioned my niece was in the Junior Miss Pageant (on my mom's birthday). For her talent she sang "For Good" from the musical, "Wicked". She did all the singing, I just helped her find a song & practice it. Oh! I also got to record the accompaniment on a friend's cool Clavinova keyboard. (Thanks, Annette!!) We even set up our own little "dress rehearsal" in the church gym in front of family, which amounted to about 30+ people. It was fun! (maybe more fun for me than for her.)

She did AMAZING!! Who knew the little cheerleader could sing?! :) My sister-in-law was her hostess & did such a great job with her hair & all the details, as usual! She won 2nd Runner-Up & was beautiful, as you can see! It was a fun birthday present for my mom! Caitlin, Brooklin, & the girls had a lot of fun getting their pictures taken with the contestants afterwards. Way to Go, Ashlee!!
