The music teacher, Mr. Morris, had the 5th graders audition for a solo part in "The Circle of Life", which was the finale in the 3-6th grade Spring Program. Ethan tried out & made it--as a duet with a girl in his grade. When the 3rd grade was practicing for the finale, Mr. Morris allowed Austin to sing the solo part. He did such a great job that he added HIM to make it a trio! Caitlin later wished she, too, had offered to sing the solo part. I'm having trouble uploading the video, but it is pretty cute. If I can get it to work, I'll upload it at a later date.
In the afternoon they had the Band Concert. Caitlin is on flute & Ethan on drums. Mr. Morris had to direct the band in the beginning because the band teacher was late for the concert! Nice, huh.

Will they sing me a solo when we come and visit?
I didn't know Ethan plays the drums! Ethan, you are sooo cool! I tried playing the drums before and it is really hard! Keep it up, maybe you'll become a famous drummer someday :)
