FINALLY... Today was Ethan's first football game. He went to bed early, 
uniform ready. He woke up all through the night in anticipation of the big game. (cute, huh.) When we arrived at Copper Mountain Sports Complex, I noticed he wasn't wearing his football cleats; he had on his baseball cleats. When I asked him why he wasn't wearing the right cleats he answered, "I was wearing these cleats when we won the baseball tournament here!" (The only other time he has played any sport at that complex.)
And apparently it worked. He had a great game & his team won 34-0. 
The only problem is: Every football game will be played at Copper Mountain so he will not even wear his new football cleats. The up-side: I bought them at a garage sale for $1 so if he wears them to a few practices, I'll get my money's worth. Even better: Reid won't spend $60+ on the cleats he wanted Ethan to use!!
