Hooray! A New Week! 2/4/08

I did not blog this weekend because my life got too crazy too fast.

Friday Caitlin dislocated her knee in Music Class and we spent most of the day at the Hospital. We then had to find a knee brace small enough to fit her because the Doctor's medical supplier didn't have one small enough for her skinny leg. We had to buy a gift for a friend's birthday party, go to the friend's birthday party, and had our usual Friday Movie Night as a family.

Saturday Ethan had a Merit Badge Fair in Dillon, and left at 7:15 a.m. with a packed lunch and backpack. I made a lunch for Reid & got him off to work. Brooklin decided to shave her arm in the bath-tub. We missed President Hinckley's Funeral. I FINALLY took down my Christmas tree and decorations. My un-injured kids cared for my injured kids, resulting in spilled cereal in my living
room. I found-out I'd need a substitute for Primary, couldn't get one, and had to prepare to teach the class myself.
Sunday we fasted, went to church, and had our own little Super Bowl Party with just the 7 of us. By the time we cleaned-up, it was time to go to bed!
Speaking of bedtime... there's no rest, either! Two of my boys came into my bedroom during the night with bloody noses this weekend. The other one came in trembling with fear from noises.
Isn't life exciting?!

Darci, I know you want to trade with my life but I just can't.

Seriously, when will our lives be normal?

Glad you had a minute to yourself.

Thanks. :) "Normal" is a funny word. I think we're living our normal!!

I actually often wonder how you survived with the 2 sets of twins 18 months apart when they were little. I used to think my kids would be easier when they got older. But I realized that NOW THEY HAVE MINDS OF THEIR OWN! I had much more control when they were little!!

Oooh, ouch! How on earth do you dislocate your knee, let alone in music class?? Do tell!

It was simply a freak thing. They were doing a little twisting. Her knee lightly bumped someone elses, and it must have hit "just right". That's all it took! We tease her about getting injured in MUSIC!!
