We were driving home from school today when Cameron & Brooklin wanted to get out & walk with a friend.
(They don't actually walk, they run!)
I followed in the car.
After the kids separated toward their own homes, my kids came to the car window. This is how it went:
Cameron: Mom, Nicholas kept saying, "Don't worry about Brooklin".
Mom: Like he wanted you to run ahead and leave her?
Cameron: Yeah. But I just told him that if I am with her and anything happens to her, it's my responsibility.
Go Cameron!! Such wisdom from Brooklin's protective 8 year old big brother!

Cameron you are a great big brother. I have always wanted a big brother like that. I guess I won't because I am the oldest. Oh well, you are lucky Brooklin.
Cameron,
I am so proud of you. You are a very special brother and Heavenly Father is so proud of you for helping him to look after Brooklin. Good job!
