Co-Ed Volleyball 4/5/08

The 6th graders in our city have a co-ed volleyball tournament every year. They play only one weekend as a fundraiser for one of the elementary schools. It is free to the students and spectators, but the school offers concessions to earn their money.

Caitlin's team won their first game by forfeit. Their second game appeared to be a blowout by the other team. They were ahead by 12, then we came back to win in the last few minutes. She was playing against one of her friends from church, so it was bittersweet. They lost their third and fourth games, and thus were out of the tournament.

Her school had 2 teams. The other team was undefeated and upset the sponsoring school to win the 1st place trophy. Caitlin's teacher and school counselor were the coaches of both teams. It was a great idea for a fundraiser.

Can I have your trophy? I don't have any!
