Kids and Conference 4/1/08

We LISTEN to the General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on the internet in our home. So we usually make 7 copies of the page from the last Conference Issue of the Ensign with the pictures of the General Authorities. Then while we are listening, the children can locate the speaker's picture, cut it out, paste it on a page, and take notes. Last Conference, Ethan even made us little booklets with his own drawing of the Salt Lake Temple on the cover.

There are other options, though. My favorite is packet I found on Sugardoodle.net. If you click on the sugardoodle link, it has a few other packets that are not as many pages, just click the "Previous" link about halfway down the page. Theideadoor.com is one of my favorite sites, and has many links for G.C. activities. You can also google "general conference booklet" or "general conference packet", but make sure they are current. If they're not, the General Authorities will not be correct.

I love General Conference, and having my kids listen & learn makes it one of my favorite events twice a year!
