First thing this morning Ethan entered my bedroom wearing his football gear. He had on the yellow Hawthorne practice jersey Grandma Bringhurst let him keep. Today would be his first football practice! It was, however, not until 5:00 p.m. What a LONG WAIT!!
It just happened to be Reid's afternoon off, which was a big deal to Ethan. His Dad watched him practice, where he got to wear his blue Titans game jersey for the first time. We were led to believe he would be on the Tennessee Titans, but in 
true Butte style, it is actually the Pork Chop Johns Titans. Butte is quite famous for their Pork Chop Sandwiches. That is a story for another blog.
I am wondering what it will take to get that smile off his face!! I think he'll continue the grin until well after football is over. His first game is Saturday, September 9th.

Ethan, I am super proud of you! I'm glad you're liking football so much. That's cool that your dad got to see your first practice. I bet you'll be as good of a player has he was :)
